Improvements were completed on several roads throughout the community including Clare Road, Prairie Star Parkway, Noland Road, and a signalization project for 101st and Woodland. Work got started on the project to improve 87th Street Parkway from Renner Boulevard to Haven Street in preparation of City Center. This project is funded by the city, county and federal stimulus funds as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Lenexa continued to invest thousands of dollars, including revenue generated from the 3/8-cent sales tax that residents approved in 2008, for the annual pavement management program.
