If you are a resident of Lenexa and have a dog or cat over the age of six (6) months, you need to obtain an animal license for your pet.

PROCEDURE:
Application for animal license can be made online by the owner or on a form provided by the City Clerk's office. This form can be downloaded below, mailed or faxed to you. Renewals for licensing are mailed in December for the following year. You may handle either new licenses or renewals online, by mail or in person. The form requires information about the owner and pet information including sex, age, breed, color, call name, and the rabies inoculate certificate number, date, and administering veterinarian.
