In order to collect residential or commercial solid waste in the City of Lenexa you must obtain a refuse hauler license.

PROCEDURE:
To obtain a refuse hauler license, you need to fill out the license application, which is available from the Department of Community Development in City Hall. You need to provide proof of insurance coverage in the amount of not less than five hundred thousand dollars ($ 500,000.00) for each occurrence.

Hours of collection may not begin before 7:00 a.m. (CST) and pick up must stop before sunset. Collections must be made at least once a week.
