The Planning Commission is the body that reviews development proposals for compliance with the Unified Development Code (UDC) and makes recommendations to the Governing Body in the following areas:
• Long range plans and maps for the City and plans for public improvements within the City
• Plats and development plans proposed for property within the City
• Zoning and rezoning of property within the City
The Commission consists of nine members appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Governing Body. The current membership is listed in the Planning Commission Roster. Regular meetings are held monthly at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall on Monday nights in accordance with a schedule that is approved at the beginning of each year. The current year meeting agendas, staff reports and minutes are available for viewing.
