In commercial and business zoning districts, small satellite dish antennas, one meter (39") or smaller in size, are allowed without a building permit, as long as the installation conforms to the General Requirements outlined in the brochure, Satellite Dish Antennas. A building permit must be obtained from the Department of Community Development prior to installing larger satellite dish antennas. These dishes are subject to maximum size, location, and screening requirements, in addition to the General Requirements, as outlined in the brochure. Building permit applications are reviewed within 2-5 business days.
Fee:
When a building permit is required, the fee is $20.
