The Development Guide is intended to assist Developers, landowners and homeowners with the development process and public meetings in the City of Lenexa. The guide outlines procedures for a rezoning application, preliminary and final plans, special use application, and preliminary and final subdivision plats. In addition, a list of fees and permits required for the various types of development, along with a list of staff and officials responsible for reviewing plans and issuing permits is provided. For further guidance, detailed review checklists and brochures are available in the Department of Community Development. It is important to note that this guide is a general overview and does not describe all the detailed information that is required on plans or plats; moreover, it is not a substitute for the Code of the City of Lenexa or the applicable Kansas statutes.
