There are two types of map products available from the Department of Community Development.

Comprehensive Plan Maps

This series of maps, developed for the Comprehensive Plan, can be viewed online, downloaded, and printed in color (requires a printer that handles 11" x 17" paper). For those without printing capability, copies of these maps are available at City Hall from the Department of Community Development, or by contacting LuAnne Johnson at (913) 477-7729. Clicking on Quick View and Map Narrative allows you to view a small version of the map prior to downloading the full size version.

Geographic Information System (GIS) Maps

These maps are developed by the GIS staff of the City of Lenexa, and are also available by contacting LuAnne Johnson at (913) 477-7729. It is suggested that you contact us in advance to be sure that a copy of the map you desire is immediately available.

The following Citywide maps are available in two standard sizes, 1"=1000' (approx.36" x 64"), or 1"=2000' (approx. 18" x 34"), for $10 and $5 respectively.
