Road Construction Updates
 
           

 

Gillette Street from 89th to 91st Street will be closed to thru traffic beginning Monday, Aug. 25.
 
Kansas Department of Transportation has scheduled lane closures on I-35 this weekend as part of a repair project at the I-35 and I-435 interchange.
 
Pflumm Road at Santa Fe Trail Drive is expected to reopen to traffic Monday morning, Aug. 25.
 
KDOT is working on a bridge repair project for the eastbound K-10 Highway bridge spanning the BNSF railroad tracks, located approximately 2.5 miles east of K-7 Highway.
 
Kansas Department of Transportation has scheduled lane and ramp closures for a repair project at the I-35 and I-435 interchange beginning Friday, August 8, weather permitting.
 
Nieman Road (approximately 8400 Nieman) will be closed beginning Monday, Aug. 11 while crews work on storm drainage pipe repairs.
 
Southbound Quivira Road is reduced to one lane, from approximately 75th Street to 79th Street, while WaterOne crews continue to work on waterline repairs in the area.
 
Mize Road will be closed beginning Aug. 7 for waterline work.

79th Street from Nieman Road to Quivira Road will be closed on Saturday, May 3 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for overlay and pavement marking work, weather permitting.
 
The closure of Marshall Drive from 98th Street to 99th Street has been extended through May 9.
 
Lane reductions are planned on 87th Street Parkway, from Caenen Lake to Pflumm, as well as Monrovia at 87th Street beginning April 30; and, 79th Street from Nieman Road to Quivira Road will be closed on May 3.
 
Marshall Drive is closed from 98th Street to 99th Street through May 2 while crews work on storm pipe repairs under Marshall Drive.
 
The Kansas Department of Transportation is planning to close the westbound I-435 ramp to both northbound and southbound I-35 in Johnson County for pavement repair work on Tuesday, April 29, weather permitting.
